Thailand’s tasty food needs no introduction, with so many exotic flavours and fragrances it’s a cuisine that is well known around the world.
With four fundamental tastes in each dish or meal of sweet, sour, hot and salty, the detail plus variety are of great significance to Thai chefs.
We will demonstrate in our Hands On class how to achieve the balance of complex flavours such as Chili’s, limes, Fish Sauce, Thai Basil, Coriander, where you can purchase all the necessary ingredients so that you will be able to recreate the dishes at home.
At the start of the class we will walk you through the smells and taste of the ingredients giving you a really good foundation of Thai food and then your fresh ingredients will be brought out on individual trays ready to start cooking.
Tasting as we cook is a must, which means there will be plenty to eat throughout the class, giving your taste buds a real workout.
At the end of the class you will have cooked an entire Thai meal from dipping sauces, to sticky rice and learnt so much in between, this is a great class for any who loves Thai food or wants to try the cuisine for the first time and with Thai music on in the background it’s also a good way to transport yourself to Thailand but without the air miles.
