Today we have had the pleasure of hosting the quarter-final for the Enterprise and Skills Company and Harvest Fine Foods Yes Chef Competition.
Having already gone through the first heat at The Bournemouth & Poole College, today the students, that have come from a number of local schools, have been tasked with creating 2 mystery dishes within 2 hours, one of which must include mince and the other lemon.
There has been a little bit of pressure, some great tasting dishes and some that perhaps didn't all go to plan. Chef Des was part of the judging team and got to taste everyones creations and a lucky few were put through to the semi-final which is to be held at Bournemouth University.
All of the students did superbly well to get to this stage and have left us today feeling very proud of their achievements.
